Got a plan to hit a Rev war, and civil war site at the end of this month. I've done research on this spot for years, and it had a hotel, general store,masonic lodge, and 2 churches. One church still stands, and the rest of this Rev war era town was burnt by the union troops. By the placement of the church I've been able to estimate the locations of these other buildings as referenced in old civil war era maps. There are some earth works and trenches that were confederate, and we have access to a 400 acre hunting lease adjacent to this area. I will go for the big score and try to get on the Rev war masonic lodge right away !! Ill have 3 days to raid this honey hole and some other areas.

This spot is in S.C. and South Carolina has got to be one of the greatest American states to treasure hunt. The state has never let me down in terms of metal detecting !! At one time I almost married into South Carolina royalty....her family had alot of land and business on Sullivan Island. Dreamy summer days with that southern bell !!

I'm excited to go, and it'll be 3 of us hunting around....coworker knows alot of people in this small town, so im trying to get some other permissions also. We've found some treasure before together so he's always in on my research and tactical plan !!

Headed over to bahamas in May also for blue marlin tournament......also have many treasures to hunt on several islands so we will see which ones I get to visit !! I tell everyone that I don't pick the islands I just do the research on the ones we visit and explore hard !! This idea of treasure hunting on my time off, and not drinking and carousing in the bars is how I succeed in getting the gold and not spending my gold !!

Good evening, pirates and piratesses! I missed roll call this morning, I know, I know. Really busy and trying to get my house in ship shape for a couple reasons. Mainly so I can move my dad in at any given time. But , once done, I’ll be able to play with a clear conscience. Yay! Supposed to see the 50’s next week!
Been thinking about @old texan with all the ice they are having in Texas.

thank you wd - that's nice of you - it's been a mess here - where we live we've not been above freezing in 3 days but we've not lost electricity - we have heavy ice build-up on the trees and power lines -we're not out of the woods yet - our son and both my sisters lost power starting yesterday with one sister being restored a few minutes ago - tried to get our son into a hotel near him but 1 out of 5 answered their phone and said they would have a room if only their housekeeping had been able to get to work - we're supposed to start warming some tomorrow - we'll be in good shape in any event - ain't our first rodeo - thanks for asking - good luck with your dad - cook something good
