It rained all day yesterday and the forecast is for more plus the dust.

Yup, I was hoping for some rain here east of Toronto as well, but nothing.
I did relent and finally put out the sprinkler for a few hours last night on the back grass.

If this drought continues we'll likely have a water ban if effect by mid-July.

Working at my kitchen 'office' table yesterday morning, I spotted a little grey 'tree-rat' trying to hide a peanut in our flowerpot.

I just hope it isn't like the drought we had 4 yrs ago. Though a farmer buddy said it's now a 4yr cycle and he rattled off the yrs that it has happened. They've banned fireworks in the counties west of us for the July 1st, living around so many trees I wish they'd do the same around here.
Well if there is a forest fire there's plenty of water for them to use by the dam.
