Some light showers on the east breeze this morning !!

Already 3 times over this past month it has given rainfall, and it was just a sprinkle.
A few years back it was a real dry one here-even mature trees were dying off.
Was hauling 300 gallons of water a day up to the garden.

Yeah... I like my Anole and Gecko population round here.

I have very few bugs because of them... BUT... I wish they ate mosquito's ... sheesh they are out of control this year... worst year for them I have ever seen.

Mild winter last year is to blame I think.

Good news... the hair stylists and barbers are allowed to open here on Monday!
I haven't had a haircut since the middle of February and I usually get a haircut every 6 weeks.

When I visited my Mom in the city yesterday, the first thing she said was... "David you've got curls!"

I'm going to be first in line on Monday morning to get my head shaved, well almost!

Florida: 1st West Nile virus case reported in Miami, Aedes aegypti detected in downtown Gainesville - Outbreak News Today we had a west Nile case in may....everyone is worried....we had a case of dengue fever also at the same time as covid-19 lockdown.

I'm in the mangroves so much that I worry about this stuff....only had about 20 bites yesterday while hunting in the evening. This spot I'm hunting I call the poison wood spot....got that crap all over me again !!

Pet grooming clippers, that hang off a hook, they wrap some foul smelling trap around one's neck (that has seen countless other sweaty necks), then they expect a tip for this service?
Buy a good set of dog trimmers, slap on the # of cut-have at it. No line up-no smelly tarp cutting into the juggler vein. No listening to some philosopher that's holding a sharp pair of scissors by one's ear canal.
Nope-those days are over-just a #3-and mow away.

(Note to all-I saw a pic of Dave over a month ago) Yup a self riding mower is needed. Actually I thought he was having a mid-life thing going on-I was waiting for the pic of the sports car-

Our friend caught Dengue fever a couple of years back down off of Grenada. I guess living on a cement sailboat isn't great at times.

heres where I'm working now. You can see me pushing right through a forest of poison wood !! This cistern has 15 - 20 year old sapling trees in it. Later I found 2 dead dogs that had been dumped back hear by the cistern....the smell of death drove me out yesterday !! Got a nice silver here....1808 spanish 8 reale !! The heel plate from yesterday came from here also. The first time the coil touched the ground here I knew it was untouched.....I've been working this site for a year now and have a tremendous amount of artifacts from this site. There are 16 more foundations in here that I've yet to explore....one at a time !!

Having a shower last night, found a tick starting to have it's way on my upper thigh-way too close to the nards for my liking. It wasn't the black legged tick, but a Brown tick, still I hate the little blood suckers.
