It's almost a doldrum of humidity here in the midwest today from Cristobals efforts at 4 knots.
Pitch is bubblin out of the oakum already.
Ship smells like hot oak and...And...Well like a hot billy goat.

Didn't like having some estate gunpowder in the shed in the heat.
Burned off four cans of it.
Two types hardly kept burning.
Two others had more enthusiasm but the width and depth of what was poured didn't allow much to see from very far.
The neighbor didn't come out , so it must not have been noticed. L.o.l.. That or wasn't worth noting if he did.

Did get some ideas for the fourth of July.
Or if the ship gets too many bilge rats before then...

Don't tell Cap'n...But the lock is locked , while the screws holding the hasp are just run into dowels now , like plugs into holes we bored out after prying the hasp out.
About twenty pounds of pull will remove it all.

Anyone restore home audio stuff? My other hobby. Speakers and the occasional tube amplifier or preamp. I've done a few DIY speaker builds as well. I have a small woodshop at home. Also use to build electric guitar bodies at one time. Mostly copies of 80's model Kramer, Charvel, Peavey and ESP guitars.

I grew up on zeppelin and Old Charter on weekends.
One quick story: my buddy and I use to listen to zeppelin and ride around on weekends and swap licks to the shoulder while driving. It was Russell's time and going down main street he hit me , it glanced of my shoulder and hit my hard head. Knocked me out and we hit the curb. One night at the drive-in he got shot buy the owner for no reason. Another story.
