Good morning everyone! :hello:
Was hoping to get back out into the fields today, thankfully there's only a 40% chance of rain here until 11am.

Had a good 3hrs yesterday at a new permission, would like to get there back again today.
I haven't posted any of my finds yet, but I just thought you might like to see some pics of this c1840 site.

Hope you all have a great day,
Dave

So what did you all do yesterday besides watch cartoons and eat stale cereal?

I took lunch to my dad. Whoppers with cheese. We sat outside and ate and talked. That was nice. Much better than yelling at him through the screen door on his porch. Then, I proceeded to clean up my mom's flower gardening area. I bet I dumped 20+ pots of dirt out in my dad"s yard. And, let me tell you, the hanging baskets were the smallest ones. :BangHead: I filled up his recycle bin with plastic pots and threw away a bunch of dry rotted ones. Stacked up the rest. I filled up 3 trash cans. He was not impressed. Then, I went into his garage and found 5 cherry tomato plants hanging upside down, dried out, and yet, tomatoes still alive and well. I planted a couple under the windmill in the back yard. That way they already have a cage and dad can still mow freely and have a few tomatoes. Then I took home some, plus some big pots for patio gardening, and 2 pots of wild iris' that I gave her from the farm that she never got around to planting. Came home and crashed! But it was a very good day with my dad and Kai.8-)

Good morning, ARC. :coffee2:

I enjoyed reading that you took your Dad lunch yesterday and hearing what you got done around your Mom's garden.

My Mom's 86 and lives alone in downtown Toronto, I don't want to risk going to see her though.
I think I'll give her a call later this morning to see how she's holding up.

Take care,
Dave

Thank you. Yes, call your momma. My mom passed early December and this virus thing has been very hard to deal with for the whole family, We promised her we would take care of my dad, and we set out with a fire that came to a screeching halt. Now, mostly we (my daughter and I) can call him. He talks for hours. Quite hilarious considering he always criticized my mom for doing that. :laughing9:

Hopefully, for all of us, the warm weather will kill this beast!

Dave,
Same issue here with my mother-in-law also happens to be living alone at age 86. My wife calls her every day, however, not safe to visit her as she had both cardiac and respiratory issues.

When the weather gets warmer we'll probably visit and set outside with the safe distancing rules unfortunately.
