We got the same level of excitement going on here. Cept for the frocklicking.
I wonder if the Cap'n ended up getting some back yard chickens. It might have been on a diff thread that he was inquiring, but it sounded like maybe 50/50 odds to me.

Might work on the garden . . . or might not.

Busy in the kitchen just taking a break now. We've having some ribs done in the slow cooker with some leftover rice and whipped up a batch of coleslaw.

We also fired up a pot of leek and potato soup and sorted through some long in the tooth carrots so put them through the food processor for a carrot salad.

Oh and yesterday did some clementine peels in sugar for adding to muffins, etc....got to use up our stockpile of fresh stuff to stretch out our visits to the supermarket.

I'll see if I can snap a few pictures.
