This little spot I think is an 1800s schooner that was loaded with beer China and glass ware to name a few items. I was told about it by Marty Meylach......a legendary treasure hunting pioneer. I searched several times for it to no avail. It was covered over since the mid 60s until Hurricane Irma. After a year or year and a half google updated there images and all of a sudden thar she blows....right where marty said it should be !! And right where I had looked before. Cant wait to go see what exactly I've been looking at !! Looks to be a keel running through the ballast, if this is indeed a wreck.

But marker or light, or bouy #9 and #13 would probably be four naughty miles or about four and a half statute miles apart, so unless the beach lies perpendicular to a channel with markers #9 and #13 present it probably isn't that kind of plaque.

Another hypothesis- dock slip numbers? How far apart did you find them?

Screenshot_20190907-212519_Chrome.jpg heres some I found online but this person also had no idea what they were for. Best I can find is a coast guard manual for there own rules and I think all there smaller boats at one time were required to have a tag and number. These were found at a wreckers camp....they salvaged boats and wrecks.

Wife built house there her parents and couple siblings live in, 5 bedroom 3 bath air condition and hot water.

Had a great time, wife is Filipino. Ate tons of fresh seafood every day. Fresh 6 inch jumbo tiger shrimp was about $1.75 a pound, Fresh tuna steaks about the same price and caught that morning. Dozen rolls fresh baked from bakery was .80 cents a dozen. If you access to American dollars you can live pretty high.

Hand picked pineapples were 3 for $2.00 and they washed, skinned and cut them in rings for you. Jackfruit was free hand picked from trees as were bananas, and mangos.

Hong Kong?

How was it T.H?

Did you get to ride a rickshaw?

Did you maybe pull a rickshaw? :laughing7:

Rickshaw or not it sounds like fun.

I was in route to Philippines, spent 3 weeks in Southern Philippines. Island of Mindanao and one night in Cebu. Hong Kong was having protests but we were there before the protests affected the airport. Because of the protests we avoided going into the city.

No rickshaws, but did ride some jeepneys and trikes.

This is a fantastic YT channel. These two videos are about archery but the guy covers about all things medieval.

You are pretty low maintenace. Well, except for blowing holes in the rum budget :p

So Bill made me think of something: what if you guys were multi millionaires\billionaires? What would you do?
I think I would buy a large chunk of Missouri land with a cave. And maybe an island. Then I am not sure.
