In the book Treasure Island we have Ben Gunn.
Wriggly like an eel in his contortions and embarrassment type action. (Embarrassment not meaning shame like it is today.) Conniving and studying his subject /some one near him ect..

After considering his "assigned characters characteristics" I was reminded of Johnny Depp's portrayal of "Captain" Jack Sparrow's character.
Could it be my sometimes too vivid imagination.... Or....
