Most ground crews who painted nose art onto planes had little to nothing to go on, but every once in a while, a squadron would get lucky, and have a local British girl pose. It all depended on where they were based.

Spring is coming, and soon the armies shall march and war shall commence back to normal. Flags will be unfurled, the drums and fifes shall rally men forward, and officers will once again be hoarse from all the yelling. The whiskey will flow down the throats of the men at night, and the mosquitos will keep them company in the mornings. Yes, springtime is the time for an army, an army like the Army of Northern Virginia. :)

Yes, the boys are back in town...

Not questioning your singing ability....but....here's a song that always cheers me up and makes me feel warm in the winter.....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
This is an original version, I liked the other version that added newer "scenery", but did not want to distract from the song. Tom and Bart would have liked it and I did check the basement to see if I had a suitcase handy :headbang: :hello2: :icon_thumleft:.

This is how I remember California.

Hey Simon
About what year we're The Sunrays?

They formed "Sunrays" in 1964, this song was from 1965.

Their manager was Murray Wilson, ( the father of Brian, Carl, and Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys ).

I remember my wife's grandma ALWAYS had food cooking no matter what time it was. Good ole days :notworthy:
