Hate Tampa... too city for me I stay out of it at all costs... I am FAR west of it.

As far west without standing in water as you can get. :P

I am in one of the oldest areas of Florida.

The Spanish watered their ships and traded with the Indians here.

"Anclote key" = "Anchor Key" was named by the Spanish on their maps... all the way back to original days... the Treasure Fleets as well s every other Spanish ship that sailed came here.

This is little known BTW.

I see a restroom on the N.W. corner of the park.
I'd be all set! (A coffee means frequent stops thing).

Found a view that shows watercraft wakes.
And strange "scours" of channels where the river fragments beyond the mouth via multiple channels(?) through sediment. Too erratic to be dredge areas....

Ancient river , per it's erratic course.

And... just North is "Crystal River"... this also is a "secret port"... Cedar Key.
