Good morning all, has anyone ever experienced a cyber attack? I've been M.I.A these last few months because a man I worked with attacked me through resources provided to him from my old supervisor. I've went to police but because I worked for (Edit XYZ) they decided to let them front the investigation. They never took the equipment that this man was using and never questioned him or my old supervisor. I then went to a local podcast company and they are working with the local news to create a segment for me. I've done a podcast of my own on Spotify called "Plea" that documents everything that's happened.
I'm curious to see if any of you have ever had someone come after you and how you rebuilt after? Looking for support or someone to talk to about this all- DM me for more info or just to chat. ❤️

You got hacked.
Why the police and not cyber security responsible for online security at your place of employment? Those guarding the workplaces internet should have the I.T. and forensics to dig into the matter. If not your entire company is at risk. ( Not all uncommon until they get hacked then get inspired to be protected better.)
Company policy should detail rules regarding employee behavior among co-workers as well.

You might do the same in case it becomes more of a legal matter. Plus exposing your location at work.

Thank you for the edits. It's a long story all laid out in the podcast. IT did do a investigation however because of a lie that I have proven now from the man who cyber stalked me, they never took the equipment and didn't know he was using phones. It's too much to write out but it has been horrendous. There's definitely a civil suit brewing against where I worked. The police sided with IT and deemed me "crazy". I've been fighting this for months and because of my podcast have uncovered some key evidence to support the tides changing. Just looking for support and community. I appreciate your looking out for me!

This man also attacked me in my place of work physically at a vending machine. Work said because I didn't have evidence there's nothing they could do. He still to this day has not been questioned or reprimanded in anyway.

Sure sorry to hear this. My wife had her identity stolen a few years before we met and they got away with nearly $100k, including her tax refund. It took about three years to get it all straightened out, but she still gets people filing tax returns in her name from other states every year.
What a stinking mess. I hope yours gets resolved better than hers.

That sucks. A friend of ours had their identity stolen from the Internet and it took her 3 yrs to rebuild. During that time her credit was sub zero, she had debt collectors coming after her from every direction from the dodgy purchases the theif made pretending to be her. She reckoned it was a nightmare.
They stuffed up her Medicare, Bank loan ratings, banking and stole thousands of dollars. She said the hardest part was convincing places that it had happened and it wasn't her that did it all.

Though maybe just had a gutfull of it too. Mate of mine in Queensland and three mates had a claim outside of Clermont. They got stuff but got tired of it. A mining company made an offer, buy it outright or buy for less and you guys get a %. They chose outright. Its now one of the richest claims in the region.
Their claim was a fraction of the size of what it is now below. They shoulda gone the % offer.

Hi mate, yeah that seems the average time frame here too. Took our friend 3 yrs to sort it all out.

There are patented mines on that creek....rare in Oregon. It is like... the number one creek in Oregon. Now....do I have the time?

Dropped a 4x6 beam on my arm today... My fault, didn't have a support under it. New dewalt brushless XR sawzall cuts FAST!!! Removed post and beam at the same time! Wife said.. good thing your are made atta steel!!
