Old dog (two of them are 16) getting sick on the carpet kept me busy awhile last night.
Ours are getting up there as well. Our Pomeranian just turned 17. She is mostly blind and mostly deaf, but mostly still acts like her normal self. We just have to help her with the door and the porch steps sometimes. (She will go to the edge but then pace back and forth, unsure how to get down. We figure it's because she can't see how far down it is.)

Now that the Max is only 10.5 he's turning white on his neck hairs.
But not too old to learn new tricks.

The daily routines blend together, and then there's a moment that stands out that makes us 😍 him even more.

We found a shallow lump on his side, but a friend assured us that it's probably just a fat growth lumpy thing that isn't a concern.

We know that the Golden Years of GSD is coming up sooner, than later.
But damn to even to think that, can produce a quivering chin muscle, and an 🌰 🧐.

We are their whole world, and to many its a vice versa.
Having a dog makes a house, a home.

Good morning everybody

My condolences ARC about Kara passing.
I know the feeling is better when you know they are not suffering anymore. I lost my Shelby last month to cancer and made the decision to put her down. A very hard decision to make but did feel some relief knowing she’s not suffering anymore.
