Mornin' folks...

Meanwhile, my G&T got diluted this afternoon when a thunderstorm hit while we were in the swimming pool.

3.5 hrs of plowing to just to get the house done, and getting the truck out of the shop yard.

First one is looking back down the street at the entrance of the driveway, a bit of a bank.

2nd one is looking up towards the sugar bush lane.
Not going to even try today, as we need the truck to drive to the farm.
Would take the car, but we've seen snow drifts a few feet high on the roads before.

Pepper is your roof shingled or metal? Man that's a lot of weight....

Mornin all.

Lightning smokes on the hill rise
Brought the man with the warning light
Shoutin' out, "You had better fly
While the darkness can help you hide"
Trouble's comin' without control
No one's stayin' who's got a hope
Hurricane at the very least
In the words of the gypsy queen

Dang RC, you're pulling from deep in the archives this morning :headbang::laughing7:

New 5/8" tongue and groived plywood, ice and water membrane. Steel shingles.
No worries about snow load as everything has to exceed building codes in my books.

Morning Pepp.... were you shoveling snow in your sleep last night?
I was plowing @ 10.30pm to get out of the farm.
Then on the road one if the lighting harnesses had come apart and dragged going to the farm. So we had 1 lamp driving back which added another 30 minutes.
With the weight of the Tundra plow, weight in the back, probably 4 tons, equipped with 8 airbags, no worries.

I actually drove the truck and steered. Usually with the Mrs I just steer the vehicle most times. :dontknow:

Below zero F. this morning has it smoky looking.
Sun finally broke it.

Oh I loved me some BC growing up! I was about 10 years too young to enjoy the concerts of the 70's :icon_cheers: :headbang:

True story.
Got paid, went got a little loaded, went then to the music store. Bought a 8 track tape of Johnny Cash.
Plugged in the tape, put the headphones on, Tommy James WTF!
Passed out, great sleep, 10hrs of music ingrained in my brain.
Bought many tunes of their tunes after that.
Thanks for the morning flashback.

Have a love for old wooden antiques even though I wasn’t a big collector of them like some are. I do love a wooden or bamboo utensil for some reason. Here’s my go to’s, and later I’ll share my recent purchase of an old ships desk.
