Do your squirrels eat corn from the ears? I’ve had two ears out now for about a month. No customers. Not even any bird pecks. Maybe they won’t eat our IL GMO corn?😁

Same here, not a peck on the cob.

I need to get an organic one and see if it makes a difference.

Then again the peanuts, Black sunflower seeds, cracked corn, suet, is a whole lot more enticing.

Mornin all.

Cold one.
Around an hour after the sun was peeking two black squirrels were curled sitting in small trees. amidst large oaks why the small trees?
First guess was buds to eat. But one was in a sassafras.
Maybe they didn't want to bump any snow off the bigger trees?
Postures hinted of wanting some sun. Which wasn't getting there yet.
A while after a gray squirrel went through tree hopping beyond them.

Birds were late yesterday morning. Weather was more unstable then though.
Chickadee just went through out front. Must be very little wind.

I just buy the bags of corn from Walnart on the cob. I put a little piece of wood on the fence with a screw coming through. I thread to cob on upright & the squirrels strip it bare in no time.

I’m back I missed yesterday, I’m feeling down because my dog is not doing so well. She has surgery scheduled for the 26th to remove a large tumor on her stomach. I can’t stand to see her uncomfortable just to lay down😢

Hopefully she gets better after the procedure. I have 4 dogs 3 to many but all rescues from people who didn’t want them.
