I see some of the fixins for chili out on the counter.. House will be smellin good tomorrow.

Chili goes great with cold weather. I made a big pot of chili and some sourdough bread yesterday and the kids came over and had some. I should have made more -- there wasn't even enough left over for lunch.

No youths knocking on the door looking for shovel work.
Ahh well.

Two very cautious deer eased through. No browsing , just caution.
IF my suspicions are right they'll bed near and run an assault on the neighbors landscaping later.
I'll stay out of their dinner affairs here , as usual.
I do like watching how they use terrain though.

It looks a tad dry inside.

I was surprised to see it that low too. I just went to a neighbors field that had a small patch of standing corn. Growing near a kettle and they avoided getting stuck. I brought home a dozen ears for the squirrels for this winter. That low humidity will be perfect for drying them without getting mold.

I'm not sure what to think about Goldbacks, but some of the artwork on the new Florida series is interesting.
