Good morning everyone. :coffee2:Yesterday's sunrise brought in a cold front with an onshore breeze.

Hi, I grew one, something Butch Reaper something once. I do like the hot stuff and got into it as a mid teen when there was herring tomato sauce thing with chilli. I thought "oh yes where did this come from?". Was about mid 70s.
Always loved it since then. But good grief! When I got the butch whatever Carolina reaper it was"what the!?" I grew them, we made a stew with slivers in it, we couldn't eat it and threw it all out. A mate who said "I can eat any Chilli!"
I said ok, 50 bucks if you can eat one of these.
He bit half, chewed, then.........he almost couldn't breath! About ten minutes later of him drinking and coughing and spluttering and gagging with tears in his eyes he said....##$$&: #$$&.....#$&)( these things! 🤣
But, another guy said "ill have a go" im ok 50 bucks. Yugo guy I knew called Yarra, he took the whole thing, chewed it, swallowed it like nothing.
Im "get outa here". He laughed then showed me the trick. Before he chewed it he sneakily put some, half teaspoon full of salt in his mouth. Then chewed.
I tried it. It neutralises the heat of the chilli. The tongue receptors for heat shut down from the salt.
If you have to sit in a tub of water to poop, it's to much pepper.

Mornin all.

Pirate flag awaits pickup at the auction house. On the way to or from an Uncles place. He and another Uncle await some venison.
With Dad gone it's my turn to bring them a taste.

Bit of a mess to clean up yet but would like to sneak out this evening to spy on deer. Or try to anyways. Maybe heat something to snack on on the stove in the blind.

Fahrenheit Mate!! :laughing7: :laughing7: :hello:
How do you convert F to C easily?

Simply follow the following formula:
  1. Take the °F temperature and subtract 32.
  2. Multiply this number by 5.
  3. Divide this number by 9 to obtain your answer in °C.
  4. Give that Pepper a slap :laughing7:

Good Morning TN Crew! :hello: :coffee2:

So the first image is the "Ivory Billed" woodpecker. Firstly notice the white backline and white tail feathers, slightly different then the Pileated Woodpecker. Supposedly extinct, but inconclusive by the national wildlife committee, due to numerous reported sightings in the southern US swamps. I believe somewhere remote this bird could still exists. We have thousands of acres of undisturbed swamps in the southeast which could I believe could still hold this beautiful bird. I will soon post my personal pics of a possible "cross breed" but not the true Ivory billed.
The second picture is the Carolina Parakeet which is presumably extinct as well. This was determined within the last 60 or so years but I'm also a skeptic. About 13 years ago I was on the outskirts of the Croatan National Forest (one of the Largest in NC), standing in a friends yard when we noticed a (cockateel sized) green parrot up in the tree. The homeowner reported it had visited the year before. It wasn't there long enough for me to picture. I thought for sure it was a neighbors pet that had escaped and could not be captured. But I began to think, if it was seen the prior year, how did this bird survive the winter and how did it fly if most pet birds have their wings clipped. I had also just become very interested into birding, mainly as an avid hunter and love for waterfowl. Not just for the hunt of killing but the hunt of picture taking.
So these days I've become so interested in the search for these two species, and as I become closer to retiring I will be more dedicated on the amazing search. Wish me luck 🕵️‍♂️

If all you need is an approximation, just subtract 30 and cut it in half. So 98 F would be approximately 34 C. (It's actually 36C, but 34 is in the ballpark). Same thing going the other way -- just double it and add 30. So 37C would be approximately 104 F (It's actually 98.6). And no slapping necessary. :icon_thumright:

If an app is not for the public domain, then why is it on Google Play store?
The app is no longer supported by the developers. Use it if you want but if there are any issues with website there is nothing TNet can do to resolve it.
