dug this up yesterday too....thought it might be a kilo of cocaine or weed !!
Then I realized it was more like a purse or tool pouch.there was nothing but rusted metal ??
Had my Hope's up for a minute......caches were pretty common here in the olden days.

I know of a 7 carat emerald being found on the treasure coast yesterday !! Shes a beauty !! If it was my find I would post the pic...but it's not and I dont have permission from the finder.

I'm a lucky guy bill.....I love my home islands. And now I will leave my home islands and go to my home away from home islands....the bahamas. Spent almost as much time living over there !! I'll be over there for 3-4 months at least. Then I'll be thinking about galleon diving again back home !! Woooo hoooo I cant wait for this year.....this new year starts for me on friday. No more sitting at the dock fixing boats.....its time to start some island adventuring !!

The black walnut in my front yard is 91” around and the one in the back is 72”. Both are over one hundred yrs. old.

It happens alot ECS heres one found by my wife's students cleaning up mangroves behind the high school. I have found many over the years !! They still wash up quite a bit. The good old days are alive and well ECS !
