How was the event on the weekend?

Went for a little hunt yesterday to a very hard hit site.
Just to enjoy a bit if time.
Got a little over a hour in, then smelled that familiar odor of rain.
Sure enough it was there when I looked to the west.
Got to the truck just as the drops were hitting.
We had a sky opening event.
I don't ever expect anything at this site as I've detected so many times.
Yet with new settings it gives me a few items.
The middle item is interesting, stopper maybe.
Got a first yesterday a 57 Snider.

Neighbours dump truck load of mulch driver liked my nice clean spot in front of my pile of composting leaves. And of course had to dump the load on it.
Now the pile can't be turned with the tractor.
Ahh well.

Delivered the 5000 tractor to get the generator switched out for a single wire GM alternator.
Decided to run my electric fence cable across the field.
Funny when the mood strikes, it's actually fun.
1.5 hrs from start to finish.
200ft of cable in the ground.

Tied one fork up, sank the other done. Trenches to the fenceline of these berry patch, then back.
Switched out the forks for the bucket.
Dug out the trench, laid the cable, back filled, drove over it a few times.
Hands didn't get dirty even.
Loving the skidsteer.
