I checked the surf cam this morning that's just down the street. This ol boy was already going after it at 7:15.

The Mrs stated one time early on in our relationship she liked this style of ring.
Well when she popped the question (yes she did) 11 yrs after I had queried her.
So I remembered what she liked, remembered that I saw an estate ring.
Now it took a lot of digging up to get the ring.
But when we got hitched in Sedona AZ.
The Minister asked for the rings, I did a switch from what she thought was going on the finger.
The Minister looked and smiled "Well he's a keeper"

Rule #1 take it off for chores and swimming.

That same ring today would probably be at least $2K. If I was a young person, that $2K would be mighty hard to scrape up. (But to be fair, so was the $600 back in the day.)

Well, the SS and tungsten ones I kinda get (and I get a lot of them!), as they're inexpensive, durable and retain their shine well. But, the silicone ones to me just represent how disposable the whole thing has become.
Just my opinion, of course.

Well it's not that you had a few years of dry and making it a brown world.
Maybe it will restore some much needed reserves for watering.
You know those golf courses are important.

My take? I do not believe in man's perceived ability to do just that.

Went out for a couple of hours.
Tried the back field of the one permission, a .22cal lead.
Drove to the blacksmith site on the otherside of the highway.
1.5hrs Tomback button, buckle, 1917 dime, 1943 penny, 5 bells.
Not too shabby.

Good morning everyone. We are planning to go outside and just sit and watch the sunrise this morning (our own little Easter sunrise service, so to speak), so naturally... it's cloudy. Next week is the big eclipse. I'm actually thinking it would be kinda funny if it was cloudy that day, because they're making such a big deal out of it.
