Got a 1947-s Rosie on a Vegas park hunt today. Nice day to dig.

Good results from the hunt, well done on the Rosie.
The blade looks like it's still a useable knife, as the tweezers and stainless safety bandage cutters.

yesterdays on/off rain is this mornings snow pellets..

While sanding away this afternoon I got the urge to dig some dirt.
Off I went and ran into the permission which turned into a little tour.
Got a couple of Tombacks and a couple of pewter buttons (packed them in dirt) haven't cleaned them up.

Got my first tick walking across my hand as I drove into the yard, little black itty-bitty thing.
Every into the washer, me into the shower, 2 tick checks.

Got my first tick last weekend, buddy got one first and told me to check I looked and didn’t see any. I showed that night and in the morning I woke up feeling like a thorn in my back and that’s when I found it.

All this tick talk, errggghhh. When we were in central Queensland for a couple of years we lived next door to a single odd bod lady in her late 60,s.
She'd call out, 😬, hey ...... can you come here for a minute! Errggghhh, she had a huge tropical garden full of ticks. "Can you check my head please!?"
😩 Oh no for crying out loud not AGAIN!
I used to feel like a chimp on some documentary show. 😣
