Never could figure it out. Stuck with heavy metal detector. So, mostly just don’t go out much, and when I do, I quit when I can’t take it anymore.

I have a swing thingy and they work, I always use a harness when detecting, takes weight off arm puts it on shoulder and you can let got of detector and hangs by my side, works great when decting in the water as allows me to let go and use both hands on scoop.
