Well a tire is an issue, rear is better than a front tire going.Lucky it was the rear... i was fully loaded as well... which just adds to it.

It looks like it's in really great condition.My mother and step father picked this up for me at a yard sale. Don't know if it's old or just a reproduction but supposedly the old man they bought it from used it as his water jug as a kid.
I think around 90 and the guy said it was one his parents gave to him. The little corked top he hand made much laterIt looks like it's in really great condition.

I tapped the bottom and bolted the base on....I got the bolt and washer from my hard ware tray !! It didn't have a base when I found it. I used an old vented gas cap (I think) as the base, and an old ship spike as a handle.....black bart adventure art !!And i thought that candle pusher was old.... but you can obviously see it is not.
Its that stainless steel bolt that says it all.
