Life does seem to get in the way of fun. Well, don't you worry. Cap'n. While you and Bart are gone, I will guard that rum most delinquently, um, deliriously, um, deceitfully, er, um, you can count on me, Cap!

We haven't even got ours tilled. These guys on here have been teaching me a lot and I have gotten better and better with my gardening each year. With everything that has happened, I don't even have any starters in the house! The good news is, I believe this year our farmer is planting us a few rows of sweet corn. At least I hope that is this year.

We're almost at harvest time here in Florida! Have already pulled a few carrots and beans! Tomatoes just starting to ripen! I need to get some green ones for fried green tomatoes before it's too late!
Well today it says sunshine, and many are chomping at the bit to start gardening.
Though we have had 4.41" (11.20 CM) of rain this past week, it will take many days of warmth to dry it up now.
On the upside the weeds will flourish once again and it will be a sea of lush green.

Good morning my hearties!

Happy Cinco de Mayo to all who participate!🏜️🌵

(It’s just another day for me because there’s no rum. They drink the wormy stuff 🤮)
I can’t believe that Duke’s and Helmann’s haven’t capitalized on Cinco de MAYO. It’s made for them.
I’m guessing in the trendier parts of the country it’s called Cinco de Aioli.

I eat tacos and burritos weekly and hot chiles every day. Today’s not much different than my normal celebration mode. If you do celebrate it, I hope you enjoy!🥳
