Finally got my boat fixed....just a tad bit more to finish up before these big storms roll through. The entire boating industry has gone backwards since covid. Service and parts are horrible these days. It's been 6 months and several mechanics to get it done. Now the guy comes and won't take payment.....say he doesn't want money he wants fish. What a wierd world we live in.....free parts and labor for fish fillets.

Was the Tnet cookout yesterday? Just got my account reactivated and poking around saw the posts from the cook out and auction in Sebastian. I went to one in 2009 and got back on the site recently. Anyone finding anything interesting on the beaches recently? Been out of the loop it seems...

Welcome Zepher....beaches have been good on the treasure coast since hurricane Nicole. Some of the real good beaches have not been renourished. They are still cut down from Nicole!! I missed the cook out too. Never been to one yet.....always in the bahamas or getting ready to go when it happens !!

We're heading to Sebastian Inlet this morning. I don't detect but my wife likes to look for shell's & beachcomb. I look too but go mostly to enjoy being out. It's only 20 miles from our house. We stop on the way home at the New England Eatery for a good seafood lunch.

Big winds and a storm here in Palm Bay and over on the coast. Should cut the beach and create some new hunting spots. I need to fix my Whites Eagle Spectrum... One of the battery pins broke off. Tried to rig it, but might send it to whites to fix.... I have a small whites that uses AA but it doesn't give a reading and a dig everything option which is not a bad idea for the beach. Need to get out before they 'renourish' the beach again. Lots of good shells in front of the museum in Sebastian. Lots of things wash up there, big conchs and the pink barnacles...
