So my little Pirate Chums i can now officially join the rank of being a “Proper Pirate” as the local FLO confirmed my find on Sunday is classed as treasure!!!!

Fear not, i wont let this honour change me… but Himself will have to put up with a very smug look on my chops and condescending attitude for the foreseeable 😆 xx 🤗

Although pirates are a pretty grim bunch and often short lived.
You and himself might want to consider joining me in scheming a smuggling operation involving knock offs of those little stuffed animals used in claw machines.
It seems a safer endeavor , so far.

The bees gave me a good scare yesterday. Little brother went to turn on the berry water and suddenly I hear a roaring buzz so loud I couldn't hear anything else and they swarmed took off into the house so quick lol. Never seen anything like that lol.

Yeah she did. She'd been doing it everyday I'd go out there. They spin around and play the broken wing bit. And papa kildeer in the distance making a ruckus. It's quite interesting to watch.

A few years ago (really, sort of) when I was in elementary school the sandy large playground with woods beyond was a nesting site for some killdeer.
Thier nests were not easy to spot and the eggs blended in nearly perfect.
If not for Momma's attempts at decoying away from nests , knowing a nest (or real young chicks) existed wouldn't have been likely.

Yeah only a reason I knew the nest was near was because the decoy behavior they only do that when a nest is around. We have lots of them here. Neat because they like chickens and such are good to go as soon as they hatch
