Good morning my hearties! I fought the crowds yesterday and got almost everything I needed. Stayed up late baking and decorating the cake and cupcakes. Didn’t get anything else done except the fridge. Today is the big 6 party! I hope she has the best. The girl loves pink! I made her strawberry cake and I think it is an ok job on the decorating. IDK, maybe I should wrestle releventchair’s farm implements and he can do this Easter& birthday hoopla?

That’s a fantastic cake! Happy 6th. Our family Easter is today, due to schedules. I have a big pot of homemade noodles on the stove. Ham is cooking. Mashed potatoes, corn, rolls and desserts on the menu. All 4 grandkids coming; makes my day.😍

A great Uncle lost 40 dollars he'd hid somewhere.
("Auntie" insisted he'd hollow a wooden leg to hide stuff in if he had one.)
Come winter he went to pull on his long johns ; and found the 40 dollars.

Hilarious.

Would have been worse if you were only wearing one dirty sock because you couldn't find the other.

A naughty beagle chewed the end off a very hungover guests dirty sock in the night.
I offered him a pair of clean socks but he refused.
I couldn't not laugh when he pulled the partial sock on anyways and wore it.

I was so bored I metal detected the yard here house is from the 70s so nothing was going to be here but practice and finding coins to experiment on. I found a few seconds of muriatic acid with take the crap off coins too many seconds and it kills the coin lol

My first Indian head cent got an electrolysis bath.
Came out looking like a piece of sandstone...

Yup electrolysis is a fickle beast it can do wonders or obliterate lol. I've learned that lesson before

OMG! I can relate to this one also. I had a coat of many pockets. I also wore many treasures hats at church and home. I would keep it all separated by the pockets.

One month all of my “accounts “ were missing money. I thought I accidentally spent it and replaced every penny. I found it all in the pockets (with the little notes of how much went where) the next winter. Lol!
