This one was found by a friend recently, and is featured in the 1715 fleet society web site as there treasure find of the month. That is the only reason I'm showing it here.....I get great info from the treasure coast from a network of fellow hunters. Some of them do far better than anyone would imagine. At the same time this beauty was being found, another was found miles away by another friend. It's quietly happening, and has been really hot since hurricane Nicole 🌀
I heard emeralds were being found almost daily just north of the Fort Pierce Inlet. Spend two days down there and found zilch.

Here ya go.....if your really serious you can sift here, and many emeralds are found in this stretch.....they are not as good as others found to the north, but there has also been aquamarine, and amethyst here too.

Gary Drayton found a nice amethyst down there when I found my last coin. You can look up high and sift at the heel of the dune....supposedly many bags of unregistered smuggled emeralds were cached in the dunes here, and there is a trail from the water to over the dune onto condo property.

That was in about 15 minutes or so of detecting.
After i got there i started out... headphones screaming... so i lowered vol... still too loud.... lowered again.... and again,,, and again.

Volume pot is bad as well... between that and the cable i was bummed... so i quit.
I don't recall the details...But put a volume control inline when I went to using Rapoo wireless headphones.
Won't work for underwater of course...
