Well peeps....im moving on from covid xbb.1.5 feeling much better, but now have a pinched ciatica nerve in my left hip/back. I deal with this from time to time every year....sometimes when I feel it starting I can stretch and carefully modify my walking gate and stop it before it starts. If I can't stop its onset it's a week of pain, and sometimes confinement to bed. My wife had muscle relaxers and they help tremendously. I used to skate the giant half pipes when I was young, and all the hard slams and wipeouts have taken there toll on the body !!

I'm going to have to get me some of this coffee :headbang:

Went to work yesterday and discovered that the guys came very close to sinking one of the boats that I work on....not sure what happened, but water got over the top of the batteries, and everything melted down....so nine new batteries went in and now I'm cleaning up a giant mess.

Oh they are pain right down in the rump buddy.

Worse case was we were on a Panama Cruise, and it went bonkers.
Took me a 1/2 hr just to get from the bed to the washroom (rooms aren't huge)
Another hour to hobble down to sick bay-the Dr. gave me 2 shots to area-bottle of real feel no pain pills. :hello2:

Good morning pirates and piratesses. I have been trying to keep my personal life off of the thread, but it is getting too hard to log on. Last week my daughter broke her wrist. She’s been keeping me busy as taxi driver. Yesterday was actually my grandson’s appointment but I picked up all three , daughter, dad and grandson, and took them south. We all sat in the car and waited for the grandson. Back up a little bit, there’s been a growing trend in our area for empty bank buildings to be converted into dental offices. So, this was the case. As we sat in the car, we watched two different kids lying in the dental chairs while they were having work done. Now a part of me feels that is a huge violation of privacy and the blinds should be required to be closed so we couldn’t watch. However, watching the one squirm , looking like a snake slithering out of the chair, and the other having nervous uncontrollable happy feet going on, and both having the most elated faces when they were freed from the dental torture, made me feel not so bad about myself.

Any way, I am on a quest now to find and post some links for my daughter from the My Daily Snapshot Forum.

Now that is an ugly scene, one that it could be marked up as a bad day.

Once the water/sewage went over the Batts we had a massive short....posts and cable ends dissolved releasing sulfuric acid into the mix. Water, sewage, and acid have really messed things up.....I've had to retrace all the wires from the tech drawings. It was a long day yesterday !!

Morning WD
Not to get too personal here-Hope the daughter will be ok.
Dentists-yak-need curtains for sure.
Just knock me out-those needles for freezing do nothing they discovered after 30yrs of gruelling suffering in the chairs.

I gained a lot of respect for batteries after this one blew up while working with my tractor 4yrs ago.

I wear my personal life on my sleeve at times.
Helps to vent.

Kids in dental chairs to watch? Heck yes!
I'd have been reminding everyone in the car to watch , and remember to brush thier teeth. l.o.l..

We got a call last night and raced over to see a friend (ladyfriend's long time accomplice of sorts /friend fading from cancer. We had some fun over the years.

Family showing up while we were there and some of them....Well that's on them.
I'm debating about bringing food for them today food and how to address conflict should the expected crap start up.
While we don't want to impose either.

Might bring some favorite food for our friend. Not expecting her to eat anymore , but she could have last night. Just didn't have access to it.

Ahh well. It's not strange waters. Or the dislike of being in them anything new.
