Aye , but I only have one leg.No....they just cover pairs...pair of feet, pair of legs, pair of......well....you get the idea.
You know how I feel shopping for footwear?
Ere mate , these be the boots you be needing. Aye but they's priced hundred a piece , you be selling two and I be wanting one!
Was a guy (not me) claimed he put two of one side (rights or lefts) in a box and buy them that aways.
I haven't the heart for such despite piratical leanins.
Breeches I cut a leg off. So I wear combination shorts and breeches year round. No indecisions there!
Which goes aright aright.
Cept'n the day my ladyfriend left a "pair" of her freshly laundered breeches out and I cut one leg off thinkin they's mine.... But see, she's a wear full breeches or shorts instead of half and half outfit kind of gal.
Those cut of cloth tubes then I can use. Far more than a shoe or boot beyond thier lacins.
Cut a half inch strip off and tack it to one end. Turn it inside out and sew one end shut. Turn it rightside out and presto! ya's can tote five pounds of dubloons in it. Or if sewins not yer thing just tie one end shut and use a strip or cordage to close it later.
Softer than denim fabric protects my spearing decoys. Some being far beyond workhorse types that wants a bit of coddling before getting put in the cooler or pistol case protecting them.
But them odd shoes.
Checked sites on line. Shoe swap ect. Should be simple. Not for me!
Two or three guys same size missing opposite leg you think we'd get something going. Nope!
Even gave one my phone number.
You think single sock syndrome is bad when you do laundry? I don't know if I'm missing a sock. Thier not being numbered. But do feel a slight gain when buying socks and getting twice as many uses ; to kind of offset that pair of shoes content of sellers offers.
Which I can discount by buying used. And have. Or clearance.
To cover. Indeed.

But when she got there the cupboard was bare ; and so was her baby , I guess."
