Pines are drooping from an icing last night.
Freezing rain started around midnight. Strong wind built through the afternoon.
It's around freezing now near 10 A.M. so it'll thaw today. I think.
Very light drizzle going on.

You be careful not going arse over tea kettle on the ice now.
Milder here today with above freezing temps.
Looks like they've bumped the moisture timing up to the earlier part of the afternoon.
Great-now I can get wet doing a tire chain on the 5000 and putting in some air.
Down on the predicted snow accumulations by a few inches, but one doesn't know till it's all over.
All I know it's going be a heavy slush with the temps right at freezing. The ground is frozen solid for 3+ inches now so at least the plow won't pushing in gravel trenches.

This past weekend, a good friend and I went out to detect a massive cornfield in Central Pennsylvania. A 1700s house was located across the street, and my buddy told me that if I walked all day, I might find a coin, but the odds were slim. He didn't account for my copious amounts of dumb luck...
