Well I put some fuel in the body-wind howling 20mph-30mph out there.
A tad dangerous on the sugar bush trails today.
Not a flake of snow from this epic winter storm.
But it would suck to have 6-7ft as those in the Watertown area of NY
Chickens need a tending/they're melting/trying to go broody
Like it's really not the time girls-winter is here.
Oh well I'll see if I can make them a little dark spot and maybe one will do it.
The clutch of eggs is a main concern to them.
I took it away this past week-well I felt a total dick that I took them away.
They were so concerned that the eggs disappeared.
They all gathered around-looking under things-crying little things-even Bubbles the rooster was concerned.
Now every time I go to that corner I have a gang of hens led by the 12 lb rooster watching over my going ons.
Cold sensitive things need to be brought out of storage.
Need to get the layers on-as it a tad chilly out there feeling like 10F
Oh it's going to be 40 F come wed/Thurs-that might mean a hunt in the frozen dirt.
