I think the hen is something like that and that is real close to the frame
Good morning, JVA5th (when you rise and shine). :icon_sunny:
About 30 +/- years ago, my Great Aunt passed away. I took my Grandmother over to her apartment to clean out the belongings. She was the only living next of kin, so we got everything. My Great Aunt had a hard life (my Grandma, too). The stories I was told were of abusive behavior by my Great Grandma. I believe them. I remember meeting my Great Grandma when I was about 3/4 yrs. old, and she scared the daylights out of me. So I always had a soft spot for my Great Aunt Grace. Anyways, I inherited a yellow with red flower hen that sat on a basket and the wings opened up. Put the biscuits in the basket and they would stay warm for a while. I "loaned" mine to an elderly lady from church because she wanted to make a pattern/copy. I never seen it again. I have been looking at garage sales and Goodwill ever since. None of them would be the same, though. But, that's why it caught my eye. Out of all that stuff you have going on, those two things caught my eye.

Perhaps I shall grab it and send it to you if it wasn't taken yesterday, pretty sure the frame someone picked up. I just am not sure if it's still there. Posted on offer up that the stuff was free and boy did a lot of people show up. I'd rather people take it and make use of it all then it all go to the trash. I saved a lot of stuff for memories and relics from the past. Couldn't take it all no room and no home right now. Going to be living at my uncles temporarily as the market is supposed to go down about 20% soon so 320,000 down will get a really nice house if we wait.

I am glad you and your family have a place to stay. Smart thinking to wait for the market to go down a little. Don't stress out over the hen. If you find it and it's not a big deal, great. But, I know you probably have a big day ahead. My grandson is looking to buy a house. He found one on 7 acres, built in the 1960's, 1,160 sq ft, 2 bedroom one bath, and a metal barn. The foundation was bad, and there is a mold issue. They were asking $220,000.00. Ridiculous.

Sounds like prices here in California expect it's probably worse here. Funny thing with the items you're in luck both were out there right next to each other.

Good morning RCT
Mornin Bart.

Diversion from the brutal reality of the recent hardest hit areas maybe...
I's wondering this morning where wreckers rode out the hurricanes.
How they did it would be interesting as well of course. But where they did must have seemed better odds of being secure based on history and experience.
Secure not only in persons....As in out of the incoming or outgoing afterwards hydraulics main force scouring out more poorly chosen cache sites elsewhere?
