not too bad-beautiful morning-we are making repairs to our garage and house-a little nerve wracking but we ve needed it for a long time-how are things where you are-where are you anyway

Been there, doing that, experience 2 boats redone, 1 condo, 2 homes, 2 garages,

Many different levels of renovations from lipstick on a pig-to rebuild new.

sounds like you have it down-i could use your help-do you feel like coming to texas for a couple of days-we ve cooled off to the mid 90s last few days-damn near chilly-lipstick on a pig-i like that-one guy here said polish on a turd-yours is a more tasteful way of saying it

Yes I have heard that expression as well 😆.
Must be a universal language for shoddy work/weekend warriors.
Been nearly 40 yrs since I set foot in the Lone Star State.
Lots of memories, hardships, life in general.
Ask away on any queries that you have on redoing the place.

Seriously. I mentioned it the other evening to him and the BuckIDgr's and then to another couple. At least 3 couples want to come down in Mid January. Mr WD was highly impressed with you passing on fishing info the last time he was down. He will not be using the same charter as before. I need to line up fishing excursions for the guys and Scuba dives for us newbie girls. Any help would be greatly appreciated! You can PM me if you have info. ( Not that you have anything else going on, I need you to play travel agent. LOL)

Well thats my brother in laws boat, not up for charter....sorry !! But....I have many islanders who can help you. You know I will help !! Let me know which island you will stay on, and I will see what I can come up with !! Key largo = dive capital of the world, islamorada = sportfishing capital of the world !! Or so they say !
