I'd be tempted to keep it due to not having much and it'd be a good pay day but in the end I'd do the same and try to locate the owner if it were me too

Lol I do though greatly appreciate his sharing of getting to see what he finds. I can't wait till the next time I find something worthy of showing but my poor deus xp and my hf coil just sit lately gathering dust. There's been no opportunities to get out lately with all the stuff going on in life right now

Same to you hope you're doing well. I try not to hope too much then I end up disappointed. Escrow has to go through, with the catering business bankrupt I don't know what implication that will bring though it doesn't affect my mother's financials whom the house buying would come through. I'm just rather naive to what implications could come of that. Just lots of uncertainties. I'd love my family to get that house just it's historic nature is exciting to me alone. But I don't want to set my heart on something then it not work and feel crushed.

I'm too poor and screwed my life up too much to ever be able to do anything like that. 31 still don't drive and have done nothing with my life. I don't quite understand what's wrong with me. I'm most definitely not lazy but I have such a hard time with my anxiety issues and get so worked up over things most wouldn't. I don't get it and hate it.

For starters , thanks for no one telling me the taxes were not being payed.
Secondly , I had an escrow account required not by me , but by the mortgage process that dealt with my taxes. Including the escrow company being billed for taxes as they arose.

My mortgage had been sold to another company. Not unusual.
However , neither company wanted to accept any responsibility for why my taxes were not payed. And neither seemed worried about it.
Meanwhile I'm going a little bit JVA and thinking about coming home to an eviction party and my meager possessions on the roadside.

When I finally got someone cornered at the new mortgage company that had even a slight clue ...Her computer was down. Um . Sure lady. How convenient. Meanwhile weeks later the clock is still ticking.

Turns out my escrow account evaporated between the two companies transaction during the sale of my mortgage.
What? A third party tasked with holding funds so not to have an interest in the accounts is embezzling funds?
Alright lady. Which mortgage company does my attorney sue for embezzlement first? Cause I'm running out of time and patience, and more than the missing funds has become my interest. Including interest and penalties for embezzlement by of all people , escrow account people!
And in addition , I'm suffering from having been wrongfully evicted on paper.
How would a jury react to a letter telling them to get out due to your negligence and no one from your company caring who handled the finances enough to fix it and apologize?

Suddenly my account got squared up mysteriously.
And ever since I insisted any tax bills be sent to both the escrow account and to me directly.
