Looking forward to seeing your finds
It's all stuff I've posted before but I was bored and like to waste my time seeing how nice I can get stuff that isn't devalued by cleaning nice and spiffy. I get poked fun at I'll sit there being picky getting things as nice as I'm able to with my limited options of cleaning available to me at the moment.

I've posted this fake 14k pendent I found deep in my old elementary school playground woodchips. Was in a older layer of chips that were rotted away. Says 14k Italy but I see no way that's true as it had a thick layer of brown that was a real b to get off the right way. I then polished the heck out of it yesterday. I think it is a better fake and does contain gold just low quality. It looks quite nice well the pendent aways. The chain if it has gold is even lower quality but managed to get it somewhat clean though make a link give up so I have to fix that.

Also initially I thought I was too rough removing the original thick tarnish on the medallion because there were lines in the back of it nut upon polishing it I see those are a pattern and it is quite nice.

I like it. Nice find. Always like to find religious jewelry. Found a Saint Christopher at a Civil War battlefield. If it could speak.

This one is gold found it awhile back when I first found it I thought it was junk and tossed it in my bag because the black enamel I thought was tarnish. No idea what kind of gold as it isn't marked I'm guessing in the range of 10-14k. I know it's from a sorority from the university of washington but no idea how old. The house that used to stand in the field was there since the early 1900s I don't know when it was gone just know when it used to be there by old pictures I was able to find. Also the field has been worked a long time so anyone could of dropped it but most likely from the house as it was in the area the house stood.

Nice JV. Treasure and history, but then history is a treasure.

I even as an atheist love finding the religious stuff one can definitely appreciate the art of it. It may be a fake but still looks quite nice. I'd like to find one like yours thats a lot of cool history. I too get a rush imaging the history and what the item saw the life it lived so to say.

One of my favorite finds even though a plow destroyed it. A good sized sterling silver spoon I found here in an area that had no houses at any time that during a day I'd found nothing and just decided to keep swinging on the way back to the house got a solid signal I thought would be a soda can. I remember popping it out and not believing I found a huge chunk of silver. It polished beautifully. I wish I wasn't bent up but I still really like it. I imagine it was a hunter or a farm workers meal spoon they lost out there.

Have you researched the maker as of yet?
Quality looking piece of cutlery.

I had some info given to me on here. It came from a company in San Francisco and I believe it's from the end of the 1800s if I remember correctly. I need to learn to fix it myself or rather make it less beat up. It is a nice piece
