Bahamas research mode for me.....im planning as far ahead as June, and trying to figure an attack plan for the lord Dunmore estate......ill probably water hunt just under the cannon emplacements......I have to walk up and knock and re introduce myself to Roger the new owner from texas......hopefully he will remember me and renew my permissions on the properties. Either way I will be in harbor island in June just to treasure hunt with family. Ill be diving for bottles, detecting the high end pink sand beach, and exploring 3 sites that date to 1690s !! Then there is my pirate Cannon site, and several wrecks !! Not enough time to see it all so just gonna go with the flow and see where I end up !!

Gonna have 2 weeks on spanish wells....ill be hunting at night after long fishing days. I've got several spots here that produce silver for me !! This is our first stop !! There are so many land sites its almost impossible not to make a good find or 2

Mornin all.

Danged yardwork..
Raked backyard yesterday and it about won the battle.
Would rather be playing.

W.D. , at least with all that old iron and the harrow tooth and sickle bar tooth , there has to be an old farm around there somewhere!
And the horse effluent dissipated over time , so you're not finding that.
:laughing7:

Congrats on the diggins!

I've been tracking Google sat imagery since the day it came online.....its helped me find wrecks all over the world. Every once in awhile they update imagery and capture these wrecks when they're exposed. This wreck was salvaged in 1992 by t-nets own....makydon. there was millions in adams Wedgewood China onboard and many statues, and other goods. Don left in front of hurricane Andrew and used the salvage boat to resand the wreck. After Andrew it was lost until I rediscovered it in 2016......this is the first time I could make out the outline of the wreck from space !! You can see she was swept right through the reef and thrown on the beach. She's completely intact below the sand and should hold 1/4 of her cargo still according to Don. I myself concentrate on land and beach and have done well where survivors and upper decks washed ashore. The wreck itself is an incredible snorkel, and I find incredible amounts of pottery frags. Some finds of mine frome this site include gold pocket watch, and clumps of silverware fused together !!
