Went into the city to write the air exam and to bring in my medical exam for my truck endorsements.
Get almost there dah! Forgot the paperwork, so I played chauffeur.
So back into the city again today to do this test.

My headlamp is acting up so I figured why not just buy another.
Right there in front of the army surplus.
My lamp is 900 lumes, don't carry them anymore just torches.
The guy said here this what all the military are buying , pointing to the wall of headlamps. 100-300 lumes.
Dude I want to lite it up 200 yrds way, not cast a glow a 100ft away.
If this what military personnel are buying it's a sad world.

All my flashlights are stronger than that.
My XLR HD Kill light has a 700 yard illumination range. I likely would not qualify for a participation trophy for abusing the opposing army's eyes. Opposing Army much less offensive than enemy.
 

I bought a headlamp that's pretty bad arse awhile back at a flea market... it was some new off brand... comes with belt pack... sucker took like 8+ hours of charge.
its like daylight with 3 levels of bright... it also comes with clips for bike use.

That's a flashlight, where as I was looking for the headlamp. The EWT sells this model but doesn't give distance range.

Sucker is BRIGHT... it wires to belt pack... made with air aluminum... was well built....guy had a pile of brand new boxes... i paid same price as he has listed on ebay... not sure if its same guy selling them or not... but noticed the ebay location is here in Florida.

Will say that headband connection is odd a bit... but that is ok i will modify it... just like i do most things i think could be done better.

I bought simply due to the length of run time and brightness he told me.

No instruction book though... not like i need one... but no specs etc... but for 15 i wasnt bitchin... this guy i see at markets he has new stocks... buys pallets of stuff.

The Fenix light I have now is 9 yrs old, it started to work again, then when I went to the barn it didn't. Must be a connection or wire issue.

I tried to look up the details for the lamp-nothing-$15 winner
