Speaking from experience?
Hand sanding edges of fiberglass door extensions on a conveyorized line.
Got some good splinters now and then.
Then change hands for a few racks....

Worst splinter came from putting in wood posts for a dock. Jumped in and snagged one about six inches long into the side of a thigh.
Pulled the broken piece out. And about a week later got another half inchish piece out after it festered.

Also.... Wire brush wire under nail does not feel that great.

I put both up there with slipping on grinding wheel and nailing your knuckle full force... ever done that one... ewwww.
Oh yes.
Four inch grinder bite.
Cauterized as it cut.
Picked cotton glove residue out of it a while.
Still a good scar between first and second joint of my index finger where it removed a kerf.

Used to work with a tough talented chic....she could do just about any fiberglass boat repair above or below the waterline....we would team up on big jobs and worked well together.....one day she was on her back grinding on the bottom of a boat....well the grinder caught on a flap of loose fiberglass and the grinder got away from her.....it landed on her face and dug in good while on edge....it cut deep into her face on the bridge of her nose.....it almost severed her nose, and it was the first time I thought someone might bleed to death in my arms....absolutely horrible experience.....you can barley see the scar now 15 years later !!
