That looks like an awesome event. I have had the experience of serving 500+ several times over the past several years. Nothing that elaborate. Far from it. Outside banquet line style. My job was the layout/ flow and to keep the lines stocked. It was stressful and exhausting. I can only imagine the level you do.
The bigger fancy events can definitely be stressful, more so though for those managing it

Darn! I missed a rum party!!
Somebody rearranged the the kegs! . . .. wait, . . . these kegs are empty!:sad5: . . . . get stranded on an ice berg and look what happens . . . the rum evaporates!!! :laughing7: the Captain needs better kegs!
Yawn. . . maybe I'll just curl up here next to this here keg.. . .and . . a zzz . . snore . . snore . .drool . . .

Awww... as you may or may not remember we lost Suzy (Chihuahua) who was over 12 last June.

So I can sympathize with you on this.
 

On a happier note. Bought a new gizmo for the boat that will make loading it on the trailer easier/quicker :) Unit is quality made ,easy to install,and 25 pounds of 'Made in America' ingenuity .:headbang:

Located and confirmed a gold bearing creek w/in the last couple weeks that I can access -'legally'- by boat. Here is the mouth of that creek.:)View attachment 2015095

Its deep enough to get my boat all the way up to that sandbar :) Problem is, the water level(that the creek dumps into) fluctuates a couple feet from time to time, But its still doable .It would be a good location to dredge.
 

Woke up to 8" of snow, took the plow off the truck on Tuesday.

Was hoping for 4" I should of doubled down and put it back on.

Spring is coming soon.

So....it was you, your ladyship? Whom directed an iceberg and sank the Titanic? All just to get their rum? :icon_scratch:
