I saw the look on Saban’s face as Alabama left the tunnel coming out for the game and I told my bride that wasn’t a look of confidence on his face as usual. With his top receiver out and a few more he probably knew they needed a lot of luck but you can’t you have to give Georgia credit, they played well.

Ha, typical Bama fan. The Tide never gets beat, there's always an excuse. Injuries? Give me a break. Alabama has guys sitting on their bench that would be starting at any other school.

Maybe the look on Saban's face was because he threw everything he had at the Dawgs in the SEC championship game and knew Georgia would be ready for it this time.

Kirby did exactly what I said he should do. Bend but don't break defense. The DB's kept everything in front of them and they brought pressure on the Alabama QB. They gave up a lot of passing yards, but only FG's instead of TD's. Once Bama was on a short field the Georgia d-line and LB's kept them out of the endzone. The Dawg defense ate the Alabama running game alive, I think Alabama only had about 70 rushing yards.

Well just got back from my vampire session..... Late breakfast now just heading down to do some chopping for our lunch time soup. We'll be doing a root vegetable one....rutabaga and celery root with leeks or onions.

Time I get used to shoveling again ,it'll be time to start picking up leaves.

Friend just asked us for our seed order.
