Good morning to the crew.

And to Boatlode. Congratulations on the Georgia Bulldogs win over the Tide of Alabama.
How bout them Dawgs! Thanks.

I spilled beer all over myself on this play.

Morning RC
It's a cold one this AM.
Dogs must not be hungry to turn up a free meal.
Not caring for them hanging so close to the house though.
The Max's bark really didn't phase the two.
I guess they just know it's an all bark no bite affair.
Coyote mating season here is around Jan.-Feb..
Your pictured male is marking. And obviously not too hungry.
Should be other objects getting marked too elsewhere. Max could point them out if near any.

Arrrg... my girl and i are so sick its not funny.

Perhaps bad sea food,,, or flu or worse.

So... wont be typing much... if at all.
Captain I’ll get beep to order 2 barrels of the finest rum known to man. They’ll do the trick we hope. We’ll keep her on course till you’re better.

Between the 2 it was a squat/lift affair. She marked then he came behind and did his.
Max has a regular pee mail route it seems between them and the Foxes.

If you want to observe predators in that weather get a mouth call, you can get one for a few bucks. It makes sounds like a dying rabbit when you blow it. Anything that doesn,t hibernate will come to it.Bobcats, coyotes, foxes, any and all birds of prey to include owls, crows, ravens. You can shoot them with a camera if you want, some good pics to be had. They,re really hungry and less wary when it,s like that.I usually shoot them with a .220 Swift. Not the birds, just the coyotes. We have an absolute infestation of them and nobody much hunts them. They are pure heck on any kind of ground nesting bird, and eat and kill fawns, yep, eat and then kill.Mother nature is not a benign place.Nothing more pitiful than a coyote dying from mange which happens when they over populate,it,s mercy to kill them then.if you don,t want to huff and puff you can get an electronic call for 50 bucks, just put the sound making part outside and sit in the comfort of your own home with the remote.

Well when covid first hit March 2020 we loaded up on lots of lentils, flour, rice, beans, chickpeas and pasta just in case.

Well almost 2 years later time to start using some of this stuff up. So tonights it's going to be lentil and tomato chili on the menu. Very tasty and filling even for the meat lovers out there.
