Um... it wasnt the pop tops... it was the shredded slaw.... and the NAILS... and shrapnel from who knows what the hell.

I feel like i dug an entire dock.,,, complete with idiots trash.

Thing is... there was never a dock there....

You can tell that it had been detected by the holes everywhere to knee deep.

And they nulled out or tossed back anything that was not what they wanted.

I will tell you... if i see someone throwing back trash.... and especially the types i found... i would definitely exchange words.

Well my big plan got blown away with high winds. No way to make the kyak ride in 25kts. Worked in the wood shop instead.

You should come to the keys cap !! They should give me a gold key to the city for all the trash I haul off....I won't even talk about the 2000 scoop holes at a certain keys spot. Same thing....trash all over the bottom, ankle breaking holes every 2 feet with a pile of sand next to each hole to trip on !! Thats how this hobby get stopped.....some one will break a bone in this mess, and someone else will point out the destruction of the environment, and thats all folks !!

Anyway... just to save the suspense.... i was having all kinds of problems.... the day was a challenge.

Anyone else would have to abandon the detecting part of the day.

But i persevered ... and have nothing to post as far as finds.

I did teach though... and for me this was the treasure.

Met some nice people... and was recognized for some skills by other detectorists who really wanted to learn and i felt like i was teaching some class...

And some Northerners who now are newly addicted and shopping i am sure today for a detector heh

I do however have... NOT due to me... but thanks to my daughter and better half... a picture or two of me out there.

Although i have not seen them yet.

In fact i will try to take a few pics of gear for you guys... i think i said once a long time ago i would.

The Pulse 8x is dead... perhaps internal batt wire was reversed... i have to take it all apart again.

The X2 batt was on charge all night.... Dead upon arrival.... had to use batt pack.... with a handful of batts that some were leaking it looked like... i have to go clean all this as well

Girls garrett contacts were corroded.... arrgggg on and on... the

NEVER ever try and make a smaller toolbox prior to leaving within minutes.

Should have just taken it.

I hate the 8 AA option choice
I guess it's better than the 14 AA's the White's needed in the way back machines.

No Allen key for batt pack ... no tape... no zips... wire flopping and farting with over an over

Sheesh i did not even have a Leatherman tool at my disposal.

I had to use my shirt and my son in laws fingertips... which are sore now... to remove the screws to even use it.

Almost did not happen.

My White takes 8 AA’s. Bummer. But I’ve found some purdy good stuff with it.
