A beautiful Quarts Gold 'picker size' Specimen I panned

.Enlarged about 500x. I need a Micro SD card reader for this thing so for now I'm just taking a picture of a picture.When I get the reader pix. quality will be better.

Planning a big hunt this sunday....I feel spanish in my future. Ill return to a spot where I found a cluster of spanish onion bottles on the forest floor. When I first found them I was to inexperienced to understand the significance of this find. Now I fully realize that shipwrecked Spaniards camped here.....I've been waiting years to go back....its a full blown all day mission to one of the most productive and unknown spots in the keys. I guard this spot carefully, and I finally have a partner that I trust as much as family. He's a green horn so it will be a slow cautious penatration to the spot....might take 3 hours both by kyak and hike just to get there !!
