Heard the plow out early in the morning, and sure enough it had cleared the road. It's raining hard the deck is bare, a couple of inches of slush remaining in the yard.
I'm sort of glad I didn't waste the time on the plow installation yesterday.

Been hitting a wall on water softener issues-not resolved yet.
Nothing better than figuring out something on your own.

I remember many years ago while doing search/mapping I saw a plane.
Say what! There's a plane there, did a road trip to the Long/Lat. #'s.
Had the #'s in the GPS unit, hike/explore got to the spot and zilch/nadda squirrels and birds chirping laughing at me I believed.
Went home again doing the :icon_scratch::icon_scratch::icon_scratch:
Looked on Google Earth again, there it was, but why wasn't it there in real time. :dontknow::icon_scratch:
Silly me, satellite image caught a plane flying over that area. DAH MOMENT!:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Jim, good luck with the water softener issues. Pretty much the same sloppy conditions here also.
Got it down to a simple fix now of brine tank line connections (air leakage)
I had a setting off on the controller off a tad also.

Biggest thing was the type of salt to be used, pellets vs crystal.
The pellet has a addition additive to the pellet to bind it together.
It doesn't dissolve so it builds up in the brine tank.
Looks like salt, but it sits in the bottom forms into a mat on the bottom.

So 4hrs-200lbs of removal of this table salt looking matter it's done.
Tech. "Use crystal salt not pellet"
Plumber said "Use pellet not crystal"
Home owner feels like somebody wanted him to bend over a tad....:laughing7:

So now I can put another notch of experience on the home repair referral manual.
Next on the list-get a warranty for some thing the has fallen out of warranty.
This one is a tad harder-not impossible-results to be posted up later.

Jim, Here's a video for you....still not cut and dried, however, he uses the last one in his unit at home.

So true Bill not cut and dried.
All I know is that I don't want to be digging that stuff out of the brine tank any time soon.
For working in a salt mine/or flats, not for me either-clean work though I'm thinking. :laughing7:

Jim, pizza is always a good fallback. Come fall we tend to go with some sort of comfort food pasta, stews, casseroles that sort of thing.
My leg is back about 75% from my fall on the ice. The missus picked up a cane at the pharmacy to help me get around. Max one more week and I should be back 100%.
Tomorrow heading off to our stamp club for the last group gathering before the holidays. I'll be taking along my over the boot cleats just in case don't need another tumble with the holidays coming up.

Technology. I no longer use the "peep" sight on my bow. Looking through that little &$%8^&$% was a PIA !

Combining our Magnum rear sight with TruGlo's Tru-Site Xtreme large diameter pin head
assembly, Hind Sight has developed the ultimate dual sighting system on a one piece, 60-61 aluminum, CNC machined mounting bracket that places the sights about nine inches apart. The front pin assembly is equipped with 5 extra long TruGlo fiber optic sight pins in a medium .029" pin size. Machined precision pin alignment eliminates distortion. LED bonus light illuminates pins with less glare for better target acquisition. Calibrated for easy field adjustments.
