Tis I cap'n! I finally floated to the surface! Someone not only moved the ship, they revamped it on me! Had to swim thru the Bermuda Triangle to get here. Some times I appear to still be in there!

Come on WD a thumb print photo of the FAV. decoration?
Get the phone out-click-attach-full image-pretty please.
(Even with engaging my screen-I have :dontknow:of what it is.)

It is a vintage Fontanini Nativity Scene that we had when I was a kid.

Oh I can still remember having it a few times a week.(4wks)
Fresh from that days catch so tender while we stayed on Tioman Island Malaysia.
Well on the return to Toronto I had a hankering for it again, it was like chewing on rubber bands.:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
Jim,
You gotta have it cooked by people of Italian or Greek or another background who know how to do it right. Had an octopus salad at a Greek seafood restaurant and it was so tender you could cut it with your fork!

I set out a round steak to thaw for dinner. Once thawed, I figured out the thing was folded up. I unfolded it and I swear it was like something from the flinstones.

Feed ya for a few days.
Cook it up, slap it down in front of Mr D and say "You're good till Wednesday darling":laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Lol! I just read him your post. Got him started. "That D*** thing was like that!" He held his hands out real wide. Then he said, " I guess we will be having round steak for 3 days." :laughing9:

Yes. I broke 2 other vintage keepsakes today. I have been searching for another for years, and haven't come across it.

Well, gee, if I can find the pic, maybe I can get it off of ebay.

WD you have to get the Captain to laff'n, then he's more into the spirit of sharing.

And that last keepsake Christmas decoration is below deck, in a box back in the corner, under the linens, behind the keg marked: "Captains private stash! Keep off ARRRRGGG!"

As for the folded steak, that was a good surprise. It could have unfolded into, see thru paper thin, peek a boo, barely there!

I shall slink off the ship in a while. I've had warnings of an invasion of little people...with sticky hands and runny noses! 3 of them!!!
