Well, now, he is only going by what he has heard around lake Erie and his buddies. And most of them have competent fishing/boating partners (I am not), so it's not a big need for them. I really thought he would like it. What can I say? He's hard to please, sometimes. I have seen a few guys struggling to get their boat out by themselves. I would think that it would be very handy.
Hey,Like your boat :) ! But how do you fish in the boat from inside that cocoon ???

Used my little cast net today getting Nice pancakes w/it, and caught some bait :)

So the feedback on the automatic boatloader"

1. They fail sometimes
2. Some guys like them
3. Most guys don't
4. I'll stick with what I got (He has those steps attached up front. They are nice as long as you remember not to hit your head on the trolling motor like I did:tongue3:)
5. Thanks for looking out for him. (LOL I still scored brownie points)

I got rid of the boat with the I-Pilot on it.
If I had one on my little boat I could probably load it with the remote control.
But.... A windy day , or strong current is a whole nuther ball game.

I have a metal walkway I made and bolted on the trailer tongue. Then muscle the bow onto the bowstop.
The other boat it was just getting the boat started onto the trailer enough to get the winch strap on.
Finding the sweetspot on bunks....Varied with every different ramp just about.

He’s got these up front. You can’t see them in the pic.

It’s been a good run boys and girls. But after many years, it’s time for me to set sail. You’ll all be missed.
Well that was a short knowing you.
Just joined today, and you're setting sail already.
Wait your not him are you?
The person that seems to be around at meal time?
You must be, got new employment?
No longer at the call Center?

ahhh...RTR, your cast net..

Is that the 4 foot diameter? Those look like the fake weights instead of lead? They will sink slow...
You may want to consider adding some lead weights next to them...
fish are used to predators, especially birds...they see the flash of the net, and bail...that is why you need a fast sink rate with a smaller net..

with less weight, larger fish will be able to go to the edge and lift the net and escape...

faster sink, less escape!

Well ARC it's not everyday we get the honor of a Hi-Bye Lurker posting.
It's some what exciting :blob6:
Yeah... i guess your right..

Perhaps we can talk them into doing it once a month or so just to spice things up...

give us something to look forward to etc.
