Don't come a knocking...

Of all female rock singers, she appears the most emancipated: a small girl leading an all-man group in which she herself plays bass guitar. The image is of a tomboy, lank-haired, tight-bottomed and (twice) tattooed; a rocker, a brooder, a loner, a knife-carrier; a hell-cat, a wild cat, a storm child, refugee from the frightened city of Detroit.

Well the title sums it all up, so morning to ya Bart .:hello:

Same here...flooding rain from 1 till dawn.....crazy amount of rain !!

We got a fair amount of rain overnight, it's let up for now though. We'll be heading off shortly to a quaint village south of Montreal for a day trip. Not that we need a larger house at this point in our lives but this one is rather tempting.

Huh...seems the rain is long gone now !! A Beautiful day is emerging from the lingering clouds.....seems the blue skys are moving inn, and the breeze is dry and beautiful. The brutal humidity has lifted for fall and just the small change in humidity makes a noticeable difference in comfort levels. No dripping sweat !!

Talking about fishing...Is this really "Fishing" ?... Some of these "Pro-Touring" Bass guys come to the lake 2 days before the tournament and scout the shorelines for active beds with the biggest Bass. Then they GPS their locations and return during the tournament to catch em.:icon_scratch:
I'm not a fan of bass tournaments held during spawning season. But many of them are because they like to have big bass for the tv cameras at the weigh-in.

Is that Robbie's, BB?

We call that “Pre-fishing.” Yep, that’s how the walleye tournaments go too.
I think RTR was referring to the official practice days right before the bass tournament starts. The lake is normally off limits to tournament fishermen for several weeks before the official practice days. But the pros can pre-fish before the off-limits period (and some will pay surrogates to locate fish for them during the off-limits period, even though this is against the rules).
