Well that will be nice for passing those Google earth shots with the X on them. Arrrghhh treasure maps !!It became impossible to fix the old software, things like "ARC?s" , ?beach was hot? had to be manually corrected, I was doing a lot of them for members on short posts if they complained but it became a lot of work.
Don't know if you have noticed, but now you can send pictures in PMs, before you had to paste a link to picture, now you can up load picture.
That's great news on the picture sending in the PM. Often it seemed it would be an excellent option, as one might not want to do an email to show something, but still want to share a picture, but not to the whole world. It became impossible to fix the old software, things like "ARC?s" , ?beach was hot? had to be manually corrected, I was doing a lot of them for members on short posts if they complained but it became a lot of work.

I can see the video links once again. 👌

Change. Changes. Up to the sites administration.
Foosball at the arcade music , seventies! We sure played to win.
One competitor used to play this often.
Hey Bart. Thanks again for advising me to stay out there..Yes indeed I have the Excal2 stock shaft and it really takes its toll on my arm .I try to switch arms but it does not work.I have to look for something different..Good Luck on your next huntGee...I got up this morning and was excited to get going to the treasurecoast to hunt the 1715 fleet....my wife and kid looked at me like I was crazy !! WOOOPS WRONG THURSDAY !! We don't leave until a week from now ! Say what ?...... well at least I don't have to swing the excal.....my nox should be back by then. That excal is one heavy machine in comparison. Guess I have to work then !!
I played foos for over 30 years, started playing in Okinawa in the late 60s. Played in hundreds of local tournaments and several city tournaments. I got to be very good, I had a really good right hand for front shots, my left hand was my secret weapon as a front man, I could do push, pull, bank and pass shots with left hand, drove opponents nuts.
I was also good as goalie since I could shoot with left hand and right hand on front I could also shoot real good from goalie, I had a great pull shot from goalie with both my left and right hand, I could also do bank shots from goalie.Push -pull , Push-pull, push- pull , pop!
At the bar near high school we got time in too. One teacher would write us a pass now and then , and the bar owner had nothin against us being there.
Not long after on Fri-or Sat. nights there was competition.
Two guys in suits used to be tops. Don't recall asking how they got to where they were in the game , but it was great competition. Strangers to us in the community.
A friend and I could take them , sometimes. But it was hard won when we did....
It was more often a bank up front that allowed us a goal...
Given the chance I'd score from my goalie position. Wasn't a chance often enough though. Or so it seemed. Plunk!
The geometry of goalie banks was not my forte. Did have a couple sweet spots I understood , but then you're having to have the opening too.I was also good as goalie since I could shoot with left hand and right hand on front I could also shoot real good from goalie, I had a great pull shot from goalie with both my left and right hand, I could also do bank shots from goalie.
I use to have a blonde I dated who played front for me when I was living in Tampa. She was hot and would wear halter top and daisy duke jeans just to give us an advantage as we would play for drinks and money at times in the clubs.
I would have the ball in goalie position look at the opponents and see them staring at her and fire a shot in. Sometimes they complained they weren't ready and I would just say you didn't call time out so not my problem, they didn't want to admit they were staring at my girls chest.. LOL
Nice..... Not only was my partner hot, she was a decent front player too. I would spend a lot of time just practicing by myself, grab a beer and just practice banks shots from rear as well as banks from middle rod up front. I would also practice kick shots from front and banks from front. I would get a ball and just play with it rolling it around each man passing it between my front and center rod back and fort. The geometry of goalie banks was not my forte. My left did alright too. Not exceptional; but functional.
Stronger than my dominant hand but likely slightly behind in finesse. (Rolled a few balls down the hole learning to push them around.)
Partly why my buddy was put up front.
He'd lose a ball frogging around with it in a game and cost us...
Then get mad and distracted. L.o.l..
I remember that front to middlerod shot now......Nice..... Not only was my partner hot, she was a decent front player too. I had a couple shots that I passed ball from front man to middle rod middle man and then shot from middle rod, it would catch the goalie off guard as they were anticipating a pull shot from front man far side, not a shot from middle rod. I usually saved that shot for the last shot of a tie game, won more than a few tournaments with that shot.
I probably practiced 6-8 hours a week not counting the play time, single I would play at least 4 to 5 days a week at the bars. I played in Florida, Ohio, Missouri, Minnesota, Illinois, Nebraska, and Colorado as job had me traveling around so I would to new town and no one knew my shots as well as played in Okinawa where I first learned. When I returned to states I was pleasantly surprised that the bars had foosball tables, they had none when I was sent to Okinawa.
LOL, yep that is some of them. I would do a pull shot from front while turning and talking to my goalie. Rule is unless time is called ball is in play. I would turn my head ask my goalie "are you ready" and then do a pull on word ready, asking him if he was ready was his que I was pulling and be ready for rebound. It worked probably 75% of the time.I remember that front to middlerod shot now......
Had to be ready as hard as my buddy shot. Blocked , it would be back to me sometimes at about 200 m.p.h.. ! Grabbed a couple that came out of my goal too when he scored.
Followed by a angled (side of foot) push shot up front the next time sometimes payed off. When he was on his game he could look right and plunk it left after repeated push and pulls.
If he could get a couple mirror shots in too , we'd be gaining.
Think it was furniture polish bars had on hand for rods...LOL, yep that is some of them. I would do a pull shot from front while turning and talking to my goalie. d had a fanny pack I wore that had pure liquid vegetable silicone in it to grease the rods, spare men, rubber bumpers and hex screws so I could repair a table if it broke, I would recover my man before I left, I left the rubber bumpers as they were not that expensive.
