That's a 45 inch slab....wow.....a big boy !!

Bad to the bone...Hurburt field Fla.

Nice! Literal money trees!
Were you napping when you took the pic, or you just flew by at an angle?

Passed out and my phone went off.:laughing7: morning to ya.

RR,

Neat video of the 2 intermodal trains barrelling along. Intermodal was the division I spent a large part of my career in marketing.

I'm wavin' the white flag...I give up. :laughing7:

Careful with waving white in the woods. You'll look just like a high tailing whitetail!

I have vanquished a beast securing food for the pantry.

Did not take the skiff today, I did not feel like slipping and falling out of snowy boat. Picked a field and went goose hunting. I took one Canada out of about two-hundred sighted. One shell fired.

Where I live, Coal is king. Coal here, coal there, coal everywhere, coal, coal, coal, and some more coal for good measure. When we see an intermodal train go by, it's cause for celebration, 'cause usually we get coal! :laughing7:

That's why I like Harrisburg. Non-stop action, intermodal, chemical, crude oil, TrailerTrain general freight, you name it, it goes through Harrisburg. Oh, and Amtrak has a station there too. Lotta variety for railfans up there.

And a late good morning to you, Rook. Be careful with those phone drop pictures, you never know what they may reveal!

So Duckshot, we are having goose for dinner? Yummm!

Thank you Bill, it's alright, we have the pirate ship.

Rusty is going to be a railroad man. :headbang:
As a kid i used to wave at them going by and they'd wave back & toot the horn.

Running all over the place -like rats- one(camera shy) buck is hiding in the thick stuff 014.webp

But is it the "clean coal" we keep hearing about?

Well yes and no. Coal is dirty no matter what, but yeah, it's the clean type. Up in Pennsylvania they have the shiny black anthracite coal. Now that is cleaner, and burns better.
