We are going to put in a cedar hedge, so the holes have to be 18" apart so its 20 holes 18" deep.
I put the auger on the 5000 and drilled three holes, before I looked I was 2ft down. No problem next hole with the 12" auger-filled first hole up-no problem-on to third hole-auger hits rocks kicks into 2nd hole.
Got up this morning felt like a sack of hammers, and hand dug a 30ft trench 20" deep and a foot across. Trench done, and I felt like a tired sack of hammers the rest of the day.
Had 3 ticks on me at the end of the day 2 Dog and 1 big black legged. Message from the Mrs "Don't be coming in the house with those clothes" Err, ah, um, do I strip on the porch, or before the porch?
